Overview
In this exercise, you’ll reset the lost root password of a Linux system, as you might if you had lost system access.
For this exercise, the Rocky Linux VM should be open. While the general steps of this exercise will work for most distributions, the specific details can vary quite a bit.
NOTE: VirtualBox guest extensions will not be active when you're in the GRUB menu. If you want to switch out of the VM window, press the right Ctrl key.
